Major Improvements Coming to Arlington’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. Arlington County this month launches Arlington Re-Gen, a major modernization of its Water Pollution Control Plant on South Glebe Road. This will be the initial phase of a multi-year upgrade effort to make the facility cleaner, greener, and ready for the future. The Arlington project has been in the works for several years and is unrelated to the recent DC water sewage spill in the Potomac River.
