The host will introduce the movie, focusing on what makes it “oddball.” After the film, there will be time to discuss it.
About this film: Astronomers detect a strange new planet on a course that will bring it near Earth. On the day of the discovery, an ambitious young student gets her acceptance letter to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After celebrating at a bar much of the evening, she gets into her car and starts driving home. What happens next will have an effect on both worlds.
