Hello! Hope you’re having a good week so far. I know the past few weeks have been difficult, but I hope you are taking care of yourselves and finding joy and humor where you can!
This Friday, March 14th is Pi Day! Some local businesses are doing deals for Pi day:
Livin’ the Pie Life is doing a Pi Day deal for $14 for three mini pies plus a special treat. Lucky customers will receive a $20 Golden Ticket hidden in the bottom of their box Willy Wonka Style.
Acme Pie Company is selling all slices eaten on site for $3.14 on March 14th.
Bakeshop is offering a free cup of coffee with a purchsae of the owner’s signature icebox pie.

$12 ahead of time or $15 the day of. Cover includes a dance lesson and open dancing.
No partner or dance experience is needed to come out and enjoy! We start with a beginner-friendly lesson, and open the floor to fun social dancing.

Wellness Wednesdays: Meditation & Breathwork Practices (National Landing)
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at MoCA Arlington Innovation Studio + Store (525 14th St S)
Practices and offerings vary each month, and can be noted in the "agenda" section. Breathwork and meditation can connect you with your inner vision and a creative and intuitive self, leading you to a flow state and the possibility for artistic outcomes. No experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and dress comfortably.

Translate Your Public Service Resume (Virginia Square/Ballston)
6:00pm- 7:30 pm at Central Library’s Barbara M. Donnellan Auditorium
Members from the Partnership for Public Service Federal Workforce Programs team will provide guidance to individuals leaving the federal workforce on how to adapt a federal resume for a private sector application. The presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A and time for networking. Arlington Public Library will also provide available resources to help you find new employment should the need arise. Please note, this program will not be livestreamed or recorded. Light refreshments will be served.

Cupcake Wars: St. Patrick’s Day (Ballston)

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a fun Cupcake Competition! In this hands-on class, you will learn to bake cupcakes from scratch, mastering mixing, frosting, and decorating techniques. The Departed (2006) (Crystal City/National Landing)

In South Boston, the state police force is waging war on Irish-American organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). While Billy quickly gains Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the state police as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit. Each man becomes deeply consumed by his double life, gathering information about the plans and counter-plans of the operations he has penetrated. But when it becomes clear to both the mob and the police that there's a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin are suddenly in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy – and each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself. But is either willing to turn on the friends and comrades they've made during their long stints undercover?
