Rossana Turns Two (Clarendon)

Mason Square Market (Virginia Square/Clarendon)
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Mason Square Plaza
Mason Square Markets have returned. Community members will find goodies such as handmade items, sweet treats, art, and more, while enjoying performances from local musicians.
Wednesday, May 28th
MoCA Arlington’s Poetry Ready Series feature Sunu P. Chandy (Virignia Square)
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington
Hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington in the Tiffany Gallery, the Poetry Reading Series features established poets, who will share their work through reading and performance. Refreshments and time for Q&A to follow.On May 28, the feature poet is Sunu P. Chandy (she/her). Chandy is a social justice activist including through her work as a poet and a civil rights attorney. She’s the daughter of immigrants from Kerala, India, a queer woman of color, and lives in Washington, D.C. with her family.

The Dinner Table is reserving a semi-private dining space at Layli Garden in Arlington, Virginia to host our classic dinner party experience and facilitate lasting connections for our community.
Láylí Mediterranean: Inspired by the rich history and spiritual beauty of the Mediterranean, we proudly present Láylí – an immersive mezze and cocktail garden experience that seamlessly blends dining and patio spaces, creating an atmosphere that is unrivaled. Our menu showcases modern Lebanese cuisine as its foundation, while weaving in traditional Greek and Turkish flavors. Featuring a wide selection of meats and seafood alongside signature vegan and vegetarian options, we aim to offer delights for every palate.
Dinner service will include a 3-course meal served family-style for each guest. Each guest will also receive a complimentary glass of wine upon check-in with The Dinner Table. Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar throughout the event. Tickets are $87.21 including fees.

Arlington Pride at World Pride Drag Pageant (Crystal City/National Landing)

Hosted by Shi-Queeta Lee, this Event is full of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent from our contestant, and an abundance of entertainment as we determine who takes the crown for World Pride 2025.

Community Picnic and Joining Fair (Virginia Square/Ballston)
11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Central Library Plaza/Quincy Park
Let's come together for food, fun and connection! Bring your own picnic and blanket or purchase food from one of the participating food trucks (Rossana Mobile Espresso Experience, Sweet Chili Asian Cuisine, Alejandro's Tacos, and Rocklands with more to come). Bring a friend, connect with your neighbors, meet new people! Play games, listen to music, create Pride-themed chalk art, and learn about all sorts of fun groups, clubs and organizations you could join. Sign up for our Summer Reading Program - this year's theme is Share the Love.

Movement is opening its doors to the community and offering free climbing, free gear rentals, and free classes throughout the day. No experience necessary.
Arlington Pride Vendor Festival (Crystal City/National Landing)
9:00 am - 6:00 pm at Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Regional National Airport
Free event to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride with local vendors. This indoor event will feature local craft vendors, adult novelty vendors, Pride food truck alley, music, and giveaways.
Dante Chang Presents: LA Comedy Night (Penrose)
7:00 pm and 9:30 pm at Arlington Drafthouse
This event features comedians Precious Hall , Sean Dolan and Dante Chang.

Sunday, June 1st
NoVA Cleanups (Crystal City)
11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Crystal City Metro Stop
Volunteers can meet at the Crystal City metro stop on Sunday, June 1st at 11am for the cleanup instructions and the group photo. We will meet at Crystal City Sports Pub after cleaning up the surrounding neighborhoods for some socializing!

Kevin Sullivan (Penrose)

Kevin Sullivan is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian and content creator. He started his stand up career at the most iconic venues in Los Angeles: The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and Groundlings Theater. Born into a family of nine kids outside of Boston, Kevin learned how to stand out early. He even worked briefly as a professional model in his twenties. Kevin is a co-host on the podcast Two Broke Gays, and over the past year, he has amassed over 440K followers on TikTok and 100K on Instagram; where thousands of fans view his comedy daily. Earlier this year, Kevin appeared on Netflix is a Joke Radio Presents - Are You Still Listening? at Dynasty Typewriter which streams on SiriusXM. He is currently touring the United States on his “Aquarian Contrarian” stand up comedy tour, with sold out shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, DC, San Francisco, and more.
