Don’t forget that Saturday, November 30th is Small Business Saturday! Consider opting out of shopping online and visiting a local store or two instead. One More Page books has the annual Small Business Saturday Passport that could be a fun way to check out some local businesses you’ve never been to.

Tuesday, November 26th

Inspira Latin Dance Night (Clarendon)

• 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm at Three Whistles

  • 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Bachata Dance Lesson

  • 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Social Dancing

Wednesday, November 27th

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) (Penrose)

• 7:00 pm at Arlington Drafthouse (doors open at 6:00 pm)

• A fun Thanksgiving eve watch! Summary: A Chicago advertising man must struggle to travel home from New York for Thanksgiving, with a lovable oaf of a shower-curtain-ring salesman as his only companion.

Coffee Art (Virginia Square/Clarendon)

• 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Detour Coffee

• In this class, the host will walk you through how to create a coffee art painting. This is a beginner-friendly class so no experience is necessary.

• Tickets include supplies.

• Tickets are $35.00 per person or $60.00 for two people.

DC Comedy Festival: Best of the Fest (Shirlington)

• 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm at Busboys and Poets Shirlington

Holiday Breads (Ballston)

• 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Cookology

Alonzo Bodden (Penrose)

• 7:00 pm and 9:30pm at Arlington Drafthouse

• A regular panel member on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, Alonzo Bodden has been making audiences around the country laugh for more than 20 years.

• The 7:00 pm show is 21 and older unless accompanied by a parent and the 9:30 pm show is 21 and older only.

Saturday, November 30th

Knits & Flicks (Westover)

• 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Westover Library

• Like to craft with yarn and like movies? Come join us at Westover for both! Join us one Saturday a month. Just bring your yarn project and we will provide the movie and warm drinks. Walk-ins welcome. This month’s movie is Twisters, the 2024 standalone sequel to Twister (1996).

Sunday, December 1st

Twisted Drag Brunch (Ballston)

• 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Punch Bowl Social Arlington
